Yes! For me it is really good for a freeware tool. Not my preferred one among the freeware amps that said, but this free v1 version of TSE X50 has yet a very good and warm sound. If you're interested to know what are my preferred amps in freeware, it is those (in decreasing order of preference):

- All the amps and preamps from Ignite Amps (especially Emissary, NRR-1, The Anvil, SHB-1, and TPA-1) which are absolutely awesome for different styles of music.
- The two free products from Voxengo (Boogex and Tube Amp) which are excellent too.
- And a bit behind I like a lot Blue Cat's Free Amp from Blue Cat Audio
TSE X50 v1 (the amp described in this present page) comes in my setup immediately after these tools that I mentioned above, it is really very good, more or less in equality with AmpLion Free. from Audified that I also use again sometimes despite its age.
I don't have any payware amp, these ones mentioned above are so great that I have never felt the need to purchase a payware one.
And I use also some excellent free pedals, stomp boxes, in addition to a little bunch of not free ones but totally inexpensive (just a few euros each one, from HorNet, that I find awesome).
